Robin Turnau has served as President & CEO of Vermont Public Radio since February 2009. Since then VPR has expanded its network of stations to serve more listeners across the state with VPR News and VPR Classical. VPR’s audience has grown to serve more than 190,000 listeners each week, and a growing digital audience.
She has enjoyed a 24-year career at Vermont Public Radio, serving previously as vice president of development, director of development, and development manager at the station. Robin oversaw all individual, corporate, foundation and event revenues for the station, including a successful $2M building campaign and $10M endowment campaign.
Robin serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Greater Public. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Eastern Region Public Media. Robin is on the Board of Directors of her local town newspaper, the Charlotte News.
She enjoys travel, gardening, sailboat racing, and hiking, and lives with her husband and two children in Charlotte, Vermont.
