Georgette Bronfman
Executive Director
Eastern Region Public Media
Georgette Bronfman has been Executive Director of ERPM since 2003. She is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction of the organization in support of the work of its seventy member stations.
During her tenure, Georgette brought about the successful merger of two regional groups, Eastern Public Radio and Southern Public Radio, to form ERPM. She continues to represent the views and opinions of ERPM members in numerous system-wide initiatives, to act as a resource of information and ideas to help strengthen local stations in communities they serve, and to participate regularly in the planning and implementation of many national and regional gatherings.
As the guiding spirit and Conference Executive Officer, Georgette worked closely with leaders of all of the Public Radio Regional Organizations (PRRO) to bring about the first Super-Regional Meeting in 2012. This highly successful effort targeted to station managers and thought leaders, is now in its third year.
Georgette brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this post, having been General Manager of KDHX, Interim General Manager of KWMU, and adjunct faculty and General Manager of KGLX, a student station, in the School of Communications at Webster University. In addition, she served as the General Manager of the Radio Research Consortium.
